i'm going to be completely honest right now this whole Juey and Freemon thing is never going to happen riley is 8 cindy is 10. Yea Huey and Jazmine are the same age. but jasmine is to naïve for Huey. I don't think huey would like a girl like that. I think he'll like the type of girl who is black (no racis) and has a lot in common with him like heros, and crap. but to be honest I don't think Huey is the type of ''I like her'' or ''he just fell in love'' or ''he was just dazing off in her eyes'' type of character I think aaron would just keep him as the ''classic'' character where he doesn't fall in love.

I really appreciate this comment. Thank you for being so honest, y'know I was just waiting on Aaron to make these guys canon because that's the kind of show TheBoondocks is, but your wisdom has showered light across the gloomy, muddled field of ridiculous characterization that my mind has smothered itself in, and I see now that my whims and fancies are utterly pointless. It's silly to think two people could be together because of such a dramatic age difference - I mean, two years, whoa, they may as well come from different cultural and economical backgrounds, too - they have absolutely nothing in common - and it’s even sillier to imagine they could grow up and closer together because of all the shit they‘ll go through, or develop an actual functioning relationship.

I mean, really, who imagines things like that? It’s just silly.

And I realize, now, that it’s even sillier to imagine a sweet, naïve girl like Jazmine maturing a little bit, broadening her interests, maybe actually growing up like a normal person does, because TheBoondocks isn’t the type of show that likes to get into all that “character development” nonsense. That would ruin the entire vibe of the show, adding depth to your characters. Honestly, what have I been thinking?

Narrowing down Huey’s interests to “heroes and crap” is another eye-opener altogether. Wow. Here I was thinking of him as the kind of guy who just falls off in love at the drop of a hat, or the kind of guy who gets all weak in the knees and likes to gaze longingly into a girl’s eyes - not a deep, complex, intellectual person who wants to see the best in the world despite his world-weary and cynical outlook, who maybe sees some of that best in his only friend, who maybe tolerates her childishness and her silly thoughts because she tolerates his judgmental irritability and always greets him with a smile.

Both of these relationships just scream dysfunction - that they never had the potential to work in the first place, when these kids are older and have lived a little bit, maybe actually gotten to know who they are a little better.

Jeez, I’ve just been so foolish.

I want to thank you again, this comment has just changed my fucking life.

yea, and about the whole cindy and riley thing it's just like what the hell there both bad asses I don't think Cindy is the whole ''I like him'' character either she's more of like a tomboy and some tomboys can be gay, but anyways off that topic. Riley and Cindy or just known to be friends there not in love, some people just want to turn this show into something juicy there's culture in the show (If you pay attention to the African- boy facts). Even though it has swearing and comedy and some racial words it still doesn't mean the show is not series aaron just probley didn't want it to be all serious, he probley said to himself ''I don't want to make the show seem to serious, and make it boring I want to add a little funniness into the show and make it have a lot of views.'' some people do like shows that are serious and funny so I think that's what aaron did. anyways sorry to throw you off guard there, yeah I don't think cindy and riley are ever going to happen it's just like me for example im 17 and I like an 18 year old kind of weird huh? and even if someone was to change it and to Huey and Cindy being together, yea that wouldn't work out due to the fact Huey's WAAAAAAYYYYY different. so yea but I mean this artwork is really good but it would never come true, but I love it so much especially jazmines hair XD!

I love Jazzy's fro! And facial hair will make him look older if you ever wanna get rid of his cute baby face lol, but not alot of it, just a dusting of it lol.
